Kunphen is derived from the Tibetan ‘Kun la phen pa’, which means ‘helping all living beings’.

Purpose of the foundation

The foundation works towards improving the living standards of all beings, including their spiritual knowledge should they wish so.

The Foundation works first and foremost at improving the living standards in Tashi Jong, a Tibetan village in Northern Indian. The Foundation´s aim is formulated more broadly, in order to allow for projects in other places in time. At the moment we are working on the shortage of drinking water.
In the near future we hope to complete various other projects (see ‘projects’ page). We also care for contributing towards people´s spiritual development if they wish so. Kunphen can provide for international teachingprogrammes by H.E. the 9th Khamtrul Rinpoche – a Tibetan Buddhist master.
Kunphen is a politically neutral not-for-profit-organization. It is registered at the Chamber of Commerce (number 34361601).

Every help is very welcome. Kunphen depends on your kind support, donations and gifts: monetary or otherwise. Kunphen has the so-called ANBI status which provides your donations with tax benefits.
